Birmingham names group to Service £424m joint deal

The Capita Group has been awarded a £424m contract by Birmingham City Council to transform the way the local authority does business. A joint venture company, Service Birmingham, will be created, to transform all the authority’s ICT services. ‘The joint venture company will provide new skills and additional capacity to help deliver the improved services,’ said Cllr Paul Tilsley.
