Bimingham backs casino bid Birmingham City Council’s cabinet has agreed to back the NEC bid for a regional ‘supercasino’. The cabinet considered a report from consultant KPMG, which summarised the bids by the council and Birmingham City Football Club. It concluded the NEC bid would be the ‘most advantageous for the city as a landowner’.
