Knowsley leaving children 'being harmed or at risk'

Regulator Ofsted has rated Knowsley MBC's children's services inadequate, warning the council was leaving young people being ‘harmed or at risk of harm'.

The regulator said children's services in the borough had significantly deteriorated since the last inspection in 2021, when the overall judgement was ‘requires improvement to be good'.
