door-stop

Manufactured with a reliable and robust Nordic wood core, door-stop is pleased to announce the launch of its new premium Solid Core collection. The new doors are engineered with exceptional strength and performance, whilst featuring high-end aesthetics homeowners’ desire.

The new premium Solid Core collection has been engineered to the highest standards and with the finest materials to provide an elegant statement to any home, with incomparable performance. The thick Nordic pine centre is encased in a highly durable glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) skin to ensure that the door will withstand all weather conditions, without warping or swelling.

What’s more, the solid wooden core is cross-bonded, which means that one fifth of the veneers are glued crosswise. This structure improves the lateral bending strength and stiffness of the panel. With cross-bonded veneers there is also a substantial reduction in moisture-dependent variations across the width of the panel. In fact, a Solid Core door has a life span of approximately 35 years.

Innovative, durable and individual, the Solid Core collection is available in variety of contemporary and traditional styles, with a host of customisable options to choose from, including expressive colours, premium glass options and secure hardware.

Patrick Dean, Head of Sales and Marketing at door-stop said: “At door-stop we feel that one of our responsibilities, as a market leader, is to consistently look for ways to update our product offering; part of that includes responding to customer feedback and staying at the forefront of the latest industry innovations.

“Therefore, we are proud to introduce our new premium Solid Core door collection to the market. The new doors boast all of the quality and elegance people have come to expect from a door-stop door, as well as a core that is engineered to be exceptionally reliable, dependable and secure. All of this is wrapped up in the outstanding service and delivery times that is on offer from door-stop.”

Door-stop is the UK’s leading composite door manufacturer and provides the industry with an array of doors that provide the very best in weather resistance, strength and easy maintenance. Indeed, the exciting new launch of the Solid Core collection adds another string to the door-stop bow and is set to shake-up the industry.
