Street Broadcast

What is Street Broadcast?Liverpool - Church Street
Street Broadcast is a national, community and emergency messaging system provided free to local authorities. We install digital screens that transmit both static and video messages to roadside and city centre locations.
 
 
What do you offer local authorities?
-          The ability to deliver local authority messages and community news enhancing the community experience.
-          The ability to deliver speedy emergency messages when required. Emergency services have access to the units securely over the Internet. The system can be overwritten by the services when needed; a bomb alert, missing child, road accident or crime suspect on the run. This helps local authorities deliver on civil contingency requirements
-          The ability to deliver different messages at different times of the day enabling targeting of specific groups; commuters, drinkers or around specific events.
 
 
 
What is the benefit to the public?
The public benefits from a greater sense of community and a greater awareness of how their local authority is working to improve their neighbourhoods.
 
Who do you currently work with?
We are currently working with local authorities in Glasgow, Coventry, Liverpool, Newport, Enfield, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Gateshead, Leeds, Manchester and Sunderland. We work with local authorities to first place the screens and then train the operatives to use the system.
 
How are you funded?
We have invested over £1m developing the system. We expect to generate revenue from advertising slots sold to local businesses by enabling them to target audiences by location.
