Scottish councils reject shared service proposal

Three councils in Scotland have rejected a shared service proposal after concluding it would not offer ‘value for money'.

Renfrewshire, West Dunbartonshire and Inverclyde councils looked at sharing a single internal audit and fraud service to address ‘resilience' concerns.
