Local government leaders have condemned violent protests that broke out after three girls were killed in a knife attack.
Police officers were hurt when bricks, stones and bottles were thrown during protests following a vigil for Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, who were stabbed in Southport on Monday.
