Road safety: Kids in step with training
Wolverhampton’s Road Safety Team has reached the halfway point in its new pedestrian training scheme, Stepping Out with Togo and Nogo, which is based on five CD-ROM sessions and one outdoor roadside session.
Since January, at least 1,100 year-three pupils at 35 primary schools across the city have taken part in the scheme, and another 1,500 pupils from 37 schools will have participated by the end of the summer.
