Purbeck Council votes against shared services

Purbeck District Council has voted not to share services with Christchurch and East Dorset Councils.

The leader of Purbeck DC, Gary Suttle, recommended that the shared services partnership was not implemented at this time.

Mr Suttle said the council would reconsider the proposal after May 2015 when the political leadership would have four years to implement the partnership if it chose to proceed.
