North Norfolk DC has launched an investigation after it was alleged the owners of a £6m mansion had built a pool, tennis court and outbuildings without planning permission.

A council spokesperson said an initial investigation found the property has not been built according to the approved plan.

They added that further work was required to establish the most appropriate course of action to take.

‘Once the council has reached a position, it will notify the owner of the site of any action it might decide to undertake in the first instance.’
