Second-home owners in north Norfolk will see their council tax double from next year.

King's Lynn and West Norfolk Council signed off on the move last week as part of an effort to protect properties for local residents.

The council is expected to raise around £6.5m from the additional council tax, but retain only about £440,000 (less than 7%). The majority will go to Norfolk County Council.
