Newport to set up company for property maintenance

Newport to set up company for property maintenance image

Newport CC is planning to set up an arm's-length trading company to take over the maintenance of its properties.

The Welsh council estimates the company – which will take over from a joint venture with the Norse Group ending in December – will deliver a surplus of about £2.3m in its first three years of trading.
