Minister blocks Oldham exit from development plan

Oldham MBC's attempt to exit an agreement that could see the development of 11,500 new homes has been stymied by the Government.

Councillors had voted to request Oldham pull out of ‘Places for Everyone', a joint development plan covering Greater Manchester.
