Building safety will not be compromised as the Government tries to meet its 1.5m new homes target, minister Alex Norris has insisted.

At a Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee hearing today, MPs questioned building safety minister Norris on whether post-Grenfell improvements were at odds with Labour's housebuilding target for this Parliament.
