Mayoral strategic authorities (MSAs) need to improve their partnership working with investors to ensure they are brought into opportunities at an earlier stage, a report has warned.

The report, published by retirement specialist Standard Life and consultancy Henham Strategy, said MSAs have collectively identified £80bn in investment opportunities in regional infrastructure, housing, clean energy and economic development projects.
