Local council Telford and Wrekin introduce StaySafe to their lone workers

Telford and Wrekin Council has partnered with StaySafe to help keep their lone working employees safe.

The company employs staff in a number of sectors including social work, caretaking, enforcement work and fieldwork. With many of their staff regularly conducting home visits with vulnerable individuals and in third party premises, managers wanted a lone worker solution that was the same across all Council service areas.

The StaySafe app provides protection to lone workers, with 500 staff at Telford and Wrekin Council regularly using the solution.

The StaySafe app is linked to a secure cloud-based Hub which accurately locates lone workers on a map and provides their managers with real-time updates on their movements. If in danger, staff can alert managers by pressing the panic alarm so they can provide immediate assistance.
