Leicester takes issue with watchdog's criticism

Leicester City Council has said a newly-published Ofsted report ‘does not accurately reflect' its children's services.

The watchdog delivered a rating of ‘requires improvement' and said overall effectiveness had ‘declined' since the previous inspection in 2021.
