Labour refuses to use devo Bill to protect councillors' addresses

The Government has rejected a plea to use the devolution Bill to remove the requirement for councillors to publish their home addresses.

Conservative party chairman Kevin Hollinrake wrote to then communities secretary Angela Rayner in July urging the Government to introduce an amendment into the Bill.
