The Local Government Association (LGA) has insisted it is ‘more important than ever the sector has a strong single voice’ after criticism from Reform UK figures.

Head of DOGE [Department of Government Efficiency] for Reform, Zia Yusuf, had criticised the ‘quango' in a post on social media.
