The chair of the Local Councils Network (LCN) has suggested it seems ‘illogical' for the County Councils Network (CCN) to exist in light of reorganisation.

In an interview with The MJ, Richard Wright insisted his network's relationship with CCN was good and the two bodies were not at loggerheads over reorganisation, but he suggested his organisation had ‘grasped the nettle' by rebranding from the District Councils' Network.
