A judge has ordered an Essex hotel not to accept any new applications from asylum seekers until his ruling tomorrow on Epping Forest DC's request for a temporary injunction.

The council applied for the injunction to stop asylum seekers being housed at The Bell Hotel in Epping after the site became the focus of protests this summer, with 16 people charged with offences relating to disturbances.
