Kensington & Chelsea LBC's response to the Grenfell disaster was ‘woefully lacking', the chairman of the Local Government Association (LGA) at the time, Lord Porter, has said.
Last week's Grenfell Inquiry report found Kensington & Chelsea's chief executive Nicholas Holgate was ‘reluctant to take advice from those with greater experience and was unduly concerned for [Kensington & Chelsea's] reputation'.
