Councils facing local government reorganisation (LGR) have been urged to focus on ‘the transformational' to avoid simply creating ‘bureaucratic' change.
Speaking at The MJ's Future Forum Midlands in Stratford-upon-Avon, Adele Wylie, chief executive at North Northamptonshire Council, reflected on her authority's experience of LGR and urged councils going through the process now to focus on what can be achieved.
