Dorset Council has warned visitors to be careful when visiting West Bay after rocks and mud fell from the cliff narrowly missing beachgoers.

The council took to Twitter/X after the incident saying that ‘rockfalls and landslips can happen at any time’, adding that the visitors had ‘a lucky escape.’

The pathway along the cliff is currently closed.
