Disgraced Redbridge councillor Sam Gould has been urged to resign after pleading guilty to indecently exposing himself to a 13-year-old girl.

Cllr Gould has been sacked as a senior caseworker for Health Secretary Wes Streeting and suspended from the Labour Party.

The leader of Redbridge Council, Cllr Kam Rai, said he was ‘shocked and appalled’ by Cllr Gould’s behaviour.

He added: ‘Following the inexcusable betrayal of his residents, the council, and our wider community, it is only right that Mr Gould immediately resign as a councillor and face justice.’
