Councils fear a repeat of last summer's riots without ‘significant government investment in community cohesion', a report has found.

The report looking at community relations one year on from the riots read: ‘There was a consensus among councils that, unless there was significant government investment in community cohesion, there was a high risk of future disorder as seen in 2024.'
