A Labour councillor who said far-right activists should have their throats cut has been found not guilty of inciting violence.

Dartford councillor Ricky Jones made the comments during an anti-racism rally in Walthamstow last August reportedly in reference to National Front supporters who had left stickers on a train with razor blades hidden behind them.

Cllr Jones was arrested the day after making the comments and has since been suspended by the Labour Party.
