East Devon DC is hoping to announce its new chief executive early next month after peers said senior level capacity was currently ‘limited’.

Final interviews are expected to be concluded next week following a corporate peer challenge from the Local Government Association, which said a permanent boss was needed to ‘provide vision and direction to the staff, and to support the leader and members with a strategic perspective’.
