Council attempts to recover payments to late chief executive

A council is to launch legal action over payments to a former chief executive, who has since died.

Castle Point BC is to attempt to recover £281,155 paid to David Marchant, who served as chief executive for 16 years prior to his death in 2021 aged 68.
