Call for action on economic inequalities

The Government has been urged to back mayors and shift spending priorities to tackle regional inequality by an influential think-tank.

New research published today by the Starmerite Labour Together think-tank has found the gap in growth spend between the Greater South East and the rest of England has reached £667 per person, or 19%.
