Bumper profits for SEN private providers

Revenue at privately-run special schools has reportedly soared as councils continue to battle to manage rising costs in the area.

The Financial Times found revenues at the three largest providers had nearly doubled since 2019 as councils have turned to external providers to meet rising demand for special educational need (SEN).
