Coca Cola Enterprises are demonstrating their concerned commitment for environment sustainability and the CRS with their 'Swap for Swag' recycling scheme.
The scheme, which forms part of Coca-Cola's corporate responsibility to reducing their carbon footprint by 15% by 2020 has already showcased at eight major events in the U.K including the Isle of Wight Festival, V Festival and Creamfields and features an incentive to hand over your bottles at 'Swap Shops' for a variety of Coca-Cola related paraphernalia.
'The CRS is at the heart of every decision we make. Drastically reducing costs, encourages employee engagement and relationships with stakeholders, NGO's and other companies', said John Brock, Chief Executive of Coca-Cola Enterprises.
Perhaps more importantly, Coca-Cola's involvement with the London Olympic games in 2012 will provide an opportunity to demonstrate unrivalled commitment to the green issue in regards to recycling awareness.
The 'Swap for Swag' scheme comes against the backdrop of calls for increasing sustainability awareness by key speakers at the Base conference, held on Wednesday 16th February at the Brewery in London.
