Cover your products with a waterproof sheet and stack any bags or tubs above ground, preferably on a pallet, to prevent contact with a cold and damp floor.

However, if you experience a slight firming this can be very easily remedied by applying light pressure to the side of the bag. This will restore material to its normal consistency, allowing you to continue with your repair without delay.
