Polaris Software Limited are pleased to announce the acquisition of Clarity Information Solutions Ltd (Clarity), which was completed on 25th October 2024.

Clarity provides enterprise content management (ECM) solutions that deliver cost savings, drive process improvement and facilitate compliance for public sector customers. Clarity deploys its ECM solutions across all areas of the UK public sector, including central government departments, local authorities, health trusts, police forces and fire and rescue services.

Through this combination, Polaris has an exciting and scalable opportunity to combine its complementary products to develop enhanced end-to-end solutions and technologies for its customers, which will further optimise and streamline workflows for public sector organisations, such as police forces and local authorities.

Polaris expects this combination to boost its long-term credibility with existing and potential new customers, who will benefit from additional choice as an alternative to the larger and established providers of end-to-end workflow solutions into the UK public sector.

Polaris also have plans to increase its international footprint significantly, and the acquisition of Clarity will support the international growth of its business in the coming years.

Due to Clarity's existing relationships with UK emergency services customers, Polaris obtained unconditional clearance from the Cabinet Office to complete this transaction under the National Security and Investment Act.

Kevin McCallum, CEO of Polaris, commented: ‘We are thrilled to welcome the Clarity team and their customers into the Polaris family. This acquisition reaffirms our dedication to delivering top-tier software solutions to public sector clients across the UK and beyond. By combining our strengths, we’re poised to enhance our offerings and bring even greater choice and value.’
