Social care fair pay 'unlikely to be sufficient'

Doubt has been cast on whether the adult social care fair pay agreement will have the impact claimed by ministers.

Announced last month alongside £500m of funding, the Government said the pay agreement would ‘improve recruitment and retention' and give staff ‘better recognition for their important work'.
