Basildon joins Norfolk in going cold on LGR

Another council has called time on local government reorganisation (LGR) over Labour's U-turn on election postponements.

Basildon Council leader Gavin Callaghan said in a LinkedIn post: ‘There is no doubt LGR in Essex is over.
