Six club together for South Midlands devolution

Steps are being taken towards forming a devolution proposal covering six councils in the South Midlands.

Officers believe a South Midlands Authorities Joint Committee comprising Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes and North and West Northamptonshire councils could form the basis of a future deal.
