Wakefield City Council’s legal service department has achieved Lexcel accreditation from the Law Society.
An independent assessor said the department excelled in every area.
‘This is a major achievement for legal services and the council,’ said head of legal and democratic services, Jackie Pepperell. ‘It is a boost to everyone who works in legal services, and a testament to their hard work.’
