First council secures top grade from social housing regulator

Barnsley MBC has become the first and only council to be awarded the top grade by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH), six months after they came into force.

The council was awarded a C1 grading for consumer standards, meaning it ‘identifies when issues occur and puts plans in place to remedy and minimise recurrence'.
