Two suspended Reform UK councillors from Kent have reportedly been expelled from the party due to misconduct allegations.
Robert Ford and Bill Barrett were removed from the party via an email from Reform HQ on Monday, according to The Guardian.
The email said they had ‘undermined’ the interests of the party and brought it into ‘disrepute’.
Ford was reportedly suspended after allegations of misconduct in an ‘unofficial complaint’ from several female members of council staff. Barrett was accused of being critical of the council hierarchy.
The expulsions follow the leaking of a video that showed council leader Linden Kemkaran telling party members to ‘f***ing suck it up’ during a debate over local government reorganisation and budget balancing.
Update: Councillors Oliver Bradshaw, Paul Thomas, and Brian Black have now been kicked out of Reform UK.
