North Northamptonshire Council has launched the second stage of its community governance review, inviting residents, community groups and stakeholders to have their say on proposed changes to town and parish councils.
The ‘Your Voice Matters’ consultation sets out draft recommendations for future local governance arrangements, including potential changes to councillor numbers and boundary alterations for various parish areas.
It follows an earlier consultation stage in which the public submitted proposals and feedback, which has since shaped the draft recommendations now open for comment.
Council leader Cllr Martin Griffiths said the review gives residents a valuable chance to influence how local governance should look, encouraging anyone with an interest in their community to review the proposals.
