Junior devolution minister Miatta Fahnbulleh has resigned and urged Prime Minister Keir Starmer to ‘do the right thing' and ‘set a timetable for an orderly transition'.
Becoming the first minister to resign since last week's local elections saw the Labour party decimated at the polls Fahnbulleh used her resignation letter to Starmer to say the Government had 'not acted with the vision, pace and ambition that our mandate for change demands of us'.
