Victoria Atkins has been appointed Secretary of State for Health and Social Care amid Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s cabinet reshuffle.
She is the sixth MP to hold the role since 2018.
Ms Atkins became the MP for Louth and Horncastle in May 2015 and served as financial secretary to the Treasury since October last year.
Her predecessor Steve Barclay is the new Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs following the resignation of Therese Coffey.
It comes after Rachel Maclean, who had been housing minister, was sacked by Mr Sunak.
Lee Rowley has been appointed as the new housing minister. He has been replaced as local government minister by Simon Hoare.
