Council to save interest after securing loan

The National Wealth Fund has granted West Suffolk Council a £9m loan to help deliver a state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing and engineering centre for start-ups.

Cabinet member for resource at West Suffolk Council, Cllr Diane Hind, said borrowing through the fund would save the council £350,000 in interest compared to Public Works Loan Board rates.
