Westminster City Council has launched a new brand, Westminster Living, to showcase homes for sale across its developments, supporting its programme to deliver over 4,000 new homes.
Nearly 1,000 homes in prime central London locations, including Ebury Bridge, Carrick Yard, and The Broadley, are now on the market, with future schemes such as Church Street and 291 Harrow Road also planned.
Revenue from private sales—expected to total close to £1bn—will be fully reinvested into building new council homes for social rent, affordable housing for key workers, community facilities, parks, and green spaces.
Supported by over £120m in Greater London Authority funding, the developments prioritize sustainability, energy efficiency, and high-quality design.
A council spokesperson highlighted that at least 50% of all new homes will be genuinely affordable, creating sustainable, mixed-tenure neighbourhoods. Westminster Living will serve as the main portal for buyers, linking private sales with the council’s wider housebuilding and regeneration initiatives.
