Proposals for two unitaries covering the north and south of Staffordshire have gained further support.

A cross-party committee at Staffordshire Moorlands DC has recommended the council backs the plans, under which it would form a North Staffordshire unitary with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Newcastle-under-Lyme BC.
