LGA warning over council intervention metrics

Analysis by the Local Government Association (LGA) has uncovered issues with the proposed methods used to trigger new intervention powers.

The Government is consulting on the implementation of powers enabling it to force councils to sell assets or curb borrowing if they are deemed to be acting recklessly.
