Local government reorganisation should only be happening where there is ‘no choice’, general secretary of trade union Unison, Christina McAnea, has said.
Speaking exclusively to The MJ, the union leader said the ‘huge' upfront costs of reorganisation and the ‘financial straits' of local government, called the policy into question.
