Birmingham City Council’s Labour leader John Cotton has called for the chief constable of West Midlands Police, Craig Guildford, to stand down.

It comes after a highly critical preliminary review into the decision to ban Israeli football team Maccabi Tel Aviv's fans from a match against Aston Villa last year.
