West Lindsey DC is to appeal against the dismissal of its judicial review over the Home Office’s asylum centre plans.
The council confirmed it will press on with the legal battle at a meeting this week.
The High Court ruled earlier this month that the Home Office did not act unlawfully in using ‘Class Q’ powers to locate asylum accommodation at the former RAF Scampton site.
However, Mrs Justice Thornton left the door open for an appeal.
